Check back here regularly to find out what's going on at Sinclair School of Highland Dancing.
When our face to face teaching had to be suspended in March due to covid 19, our teachers and students continued to work hard through a series of online classes to all in the form of weekly Zoom calls and pre recorded videos on google classroom for our younger classes. All the teachers are immensely proud of the dancers who have continued their classes throughout this difficult time. It was especially nice to see the beginners to intermediates all dressed up for our superhero live classes on the final week.
We even created our own lockdown video celebrating all dancers where students of all ages could send in a clip of themselves dancing and we edited all together as a keepsake of this strange time. We are so proud of the final result as it shows how hard everyone has been working at home.
Scotland on Screen - March 2019
We were delighted to be back at The Queen Elizabeth Theatre, ISA in March 2019 performing our fifth show - Scotland on Screen. A collection of traditional and choreographed routines based around films, television and other 'on screen' events. It was a fantastic experiance for all our dancers, teachers and their families and we look forward to what our next show will bring. Plus we raised over £4,000 for local charities VSA and CLAN, who attended our Saturday Night Performance.
